Knitting Again

The last few months have been so overwhelming with renovating and moving, that it has only been in the last few days that I have started knitting again.

In the evenings I would sit exhausted on the couch, half halfheartedly watching TV, or flicking through a magazine. I would glance over at my knitting bag in the corner, but I just didn't have the energy to concentrate on picking up the pattern again.

It's nice to have my old friend back on my lap keeping me warm, enjoying the movement of my fingers winding wool onto the needles.

Slowly my creative side is returning, I have missed it.

Lovely to go back to something you love when you can. Ohh and that deep window sill again, I love it.

its funny how its often a hurdle to get started on a crafting project and to get yourself into that headspace - but as soon as you've begun its so easy to get absorbed and the hours just fly by..

Keeping the balance between hard work and play is a real challenge!
Glad your lovely knitting is back on your lap.
Hope the house is warm. That's a whole story in a new place isn't it.

No point picking up the needles if you don't feel like it. Great to hear that you have newly found inspiration :)

Doesn't it suck when life gets in the way of craft? I have just picked up the crochet after weeks of festy sick children not sleeping is starting to ease. Your knitting progress looks fast. melx
