From Chaos To Calm

Yesterday was one of those days for me. I had a moment in the morning when I just lost it. That doesn't normally happen to me, but I felt as if I was on a treadmill, constantly picking up after the family as they 'd move from room to room spreading their stuff everywhere, cleaning up spills on floors that I'd just cleaned, pulling out clothes that I'd just packed away. I felt that I was going to burst, then it all came exploding out.

I felt embarrassed after, but better that I'd let it out and my family realised that they need to a bit more thoughtful and sometimes I also need looking after.

They made breakfast for me, then we went for a lovely long walk along the river in the beautiful spring sunshine. I felt much better, who couldn't on such a great day.

I love reading everyone's post's and writing my own, but for the next few days I'm going to have a little break and I'll be out and about in the great outdoors recharging my batteries. I'll chat to all in a few days, take care all.

It's always nice when someone cooks something for you, don't you think? As I am the regular mealtime cook at our house, I always feel spoilt when I get a hot brekky made for me (and the dishes done afterwards too!) Hope you have a restful and relaxing break! x

Yes, put yourself "on the list"! I plan on reflecting this week on how I can do more of that myself! Enjoy your solitude!
