South Solitary

First of all, I must say I'm sorry about the poor photo quality, as I scanned this image out of the paper.

I took myself of to the movies to see the film "South Solitary" today. Miranda Otto is always gorgeous and this film was just lovely. The cinema Nova has moneyless Mondays, which means you can see a film before 4pm for only $6.00.

It was a story about a woman on a remote island caring for a lighthouse in the 1920's. What I loved was the fashion. There were many knitted vests, jumpers and cardi's of the time that the actors wore. I have a collection of vintage knitting patterns, and I hope soon I will have the confidence to create some of them, as they look difficult.
