After I wrote yesterday's post, I viewed some of my other favourite blogs and was excited to see this post by Attic 24 about artisan bread.
That very afternoon I had a crack at this super easy bread.
The next morning, it had done it's thing, I heated up the oven and bunged it in.
The girls awoke to just baked bread which we then slathered on butter, jam, vegemite and tomatoes (not all together).
It is similar to a casalinga with a chewy crust and a soft moist interior.
Four ingredients, 12-18 hours proving, 45 min in oven, no kneading.
Couldn't be simpler.
I'm about to put another together this afternoon for tomorrow's breaky.
