Knitting Vintage




From this vintage 1970's knitting book of hats and gloves, I am attempting to make this beanie with a cable pattern. I have never done a cable before and hope that once I can complete this, I will then be able to tackle something larger, perhaps a cardi for the wee ones.

GOOD LUCK with the knitting....It's a GORGEOUS pattern....! Do you know if there is anywhere in Melbourne that holds knitting or crochet classes....?

I would love to learn & I think it'd be VERY relaxing....!!

Love the colour of that wool, it will be very snuggly! My dear friend is knitting me a headband at the moment from an adapted cable knit beanie pattern, we're hoping it works! :)

Hi Tamarah, I'm sure there are classes somewhere, I can have a dig around for you. Wouldn't it be fun to have a group of gal pals sitting around teaching each other stuff and havin a laugh. Hmmm! Now there's an idea.
