Gingersnaps

We made these for an afternoon tea play date. They were very easy and lots of fun to make. The girls loved getting their hands into it. They were well washed beforehand.

Gingersnaps - makes about 16

100g (4 oz) SR Flour
40 g (1 3/4 oz) sugar
1 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp bi carb soda
50 g (2 oz) butter
2 tbl golden syrup

Oven 180 C/ 375 F

Put all ingredients in bowl except syrup
Rub in butter using fingertips
Add syrup
Use hands to mix together into a ball
Divide mixture into 16 pieces
Roll each into a ball then press down with a fork on baking sheet
Bake for about 10 min
Let cool, then gobble up

Ooh, they look nice! And the best thing about them is that they look rather easy to make, I think even I could manage them! Thank you for sharing. Enjoyed your blog. Will be back!!
