I'm Back

Greetings All,

Today is the first day using our new computer.

For those of you that weren't aware, our much used laptop decided it didn't want to work properly anymore and it was getting us very frustrated. The most annoying thing was not being able to upload photos from our camera's, not to mention the lack of productivity with my blog and shop sites.

Yesterday we bit the bullet and bought ourselves a brand spanking new computer.

So here are a few photo's that I took last week.

Sweltering in Melbourne this summer with not one day under 30 degrees in the last two weeks, even the nights are low 20's.

The other evening the sky was looking ominous as these large clouds approached from the north but alas nothing eventuated, it just disappeared.

On a trip to the Collingwood Children's Farm we saw that the barn had been cleaned out and was about to be host to a wedding reception.

It looked so pretty with bunting and posies in jars.

How sweet are the flowers in the water trough.

As we were leaving some of the guests were arriving holding jam jars filled with a drink, we had to laugh though at the ladies trying to walk across the field in stiletto's.

I would have loved to be a guest at this wedding, dancing away all night to the swinging sounds of the folk band.

So simple yet stylish.

We really can't live without computers now, eh. Great pictures, Alison ..I love that the wedding reception setting is so rustic and real (as opposed to glitz and glamour). Those gorgeous mismatched plates makes me curious about the bridal party, I'd love to have seen what they wore.

What a gorgeous venue for a wedding! I would love to do it all over again.....
and I think a big old barn and a vintage theme would suit us!
Hhhhmmmm.....!
That sky is amazing - the barn so beautiful.

Welcome back,
