Another hot day in WA and to get some relief, a BBQ on the beach at sunset is the way to go. The wind picks up from the south and helps to cool the parched earth. Many other families have the same idea and it's a bit of a wait for the free bbq's. The grandparents are visiting from Sydney and nobody really minds as there is beer, wine and nibbles to be had, with fun games of boules. The girls scamper in the sand dunes. The sun is setting with a magnificent display, yachts are sailing past, then I turn around and see a full moon rising. We leave the beach in the dark well fed on home made Turkish lamb burgers with salad wrapped in pita bread.
