On a cold and frosty morning I rug up in my dressing gown and slippers
to venture outside for some winter garden magic.
A jewel sits on a nasturtium leaf.
A new bud appears on the climbing rose.
Rays of morning sunlight appear through the naked fig tree.
Lettuce seedlings are slow to grow.
Feathered fennel fronds sparkle.
When the sun is higher it warms the pineapple sage.
The first of the bird of paradise shows off it's glorious bloom.
There is beauty in a winter garden.
