It's Finally Raining

The start of winter, the middle of June and we have now been in Perth for almost ten months and it's finally raining. I walked the children to school & kindy with umbrella's and gumboots, which they got a real thrill out of splashing in puddles. It's now afternoon, I've done some housework ugghh, and I'm about to settle in my comfy chair with Earl Grey, white with one, the sound of rain on the roof and devour the latest book I'm reading, " The Conjuror's Bird". I started yesterday thinking I'll just read the first couple of pages, well I haven't been able to put it down since. Mmmm nice and cozy.
