Camping

It's the middle of Autumn and the weather has been lovely and mild, perfect for camping at the beach. We spent ten nights at Warrnambool,  four of those the girls and I spent on our own as Andy took the train back to Melbourne for work. He came back down for two nights at the end of our stay to help us pack up.

Our days were filled with walks on the beach, swimming and surfing, playing in the park, the girls played in the tangled woods in the sand dunes behind our tent, hunting for crabs in rock pools, visiting op shops (of course) and just having freedom from the restrictions of everyday life in the city.

We all felt a bit sad when it was time to leave.

I loved how the girls went feral amongst all this wildness, without them asking for an electronic devise to keep them amused.

Our faithful girl Lucy, she went wherever the girls went, making sure they were safe. At night she fell into her bed exhausted along with the girls.

A beautiful sunset on our last night.

Looks like the perfect camping spot, and perfect timing with the mild weather.
Lovely beach photos and your girls look like they had a ball.

How beautiful, you are brave doing those days without your partner and having the kids, well done to you. Just looks sublime.
