The Last Remnants Of Winter

Spring is definitely here now, but up in the mountains the last
remnants of Winter can still be found.

This cheeky little fellow had no fear of humans and was happy to share our lunch.

Being a greedy fellow he wanted more than we had to offer, then
found that our pack was empty.

Wearing only track pants the girls tried bottom sliding, only to discover that they got wet and cold bottoms. Ava thought her bottom was going to fall off it was so cold. Lucky we had a change of pants in the car and her bottom was still there once it warmed up.

This cute little robin didn't like to let me get too close.
