Upcycle - From Sports Coat to Tank Top

Some men's blazer's are made from beautiful wool fabric and can be found aplenty

at secondhand stores quite cheap. 

I wanted to upcycle it into something that I could wear.

I cut it up so that I could retain the pocket and placed it across the chest.

I knitted panels, then stitched bits of coloured wool into them.

I then placed these over the front and back.

I didn't hem the straps so that in time they will fray a little.

Worn with a top underneath, it looks rather good.
